Tea Cosy - "Breakfast" Blue tits on milk bottles

Some of us are old enough to remember our milk being delivered in milk bottles with a lovely inch of cream on the top. This also made a tasty breakfast for our little garden birds, especially blue tits who pecked their way through the tin foil lids.. My cheeky blue tit design is a nostalgia trip for me and I hope you enjoy it too. The cosy features also has a blue tit perched on a milk bottle on the reverse. Made from old and new snippets of fabric and free-motion embroidery and has a contrasting lining fabric.

This tea cosy can also be made using a natural stone coloured linen.
